A guardian gets the opportunity to bring one of our future breeding pups into their home at no cost.

Our Guardian Program is very important to the continued growth and quality of our breeding program, while ensuring our breeding dogs live their life as the center of attention. By choosing to be a guardian, you’re not only getting to bring one of our first-choice puppies into your home for no upfront cost, you’re also ensuring that future families get the same opportunity.

Guardianship is a special partnership — and we are always looking for those special families wanting to fill that role.

What is a Guardian Home?

A guardian home is a family who chooses to be the forever family of one of our breeding dogs. We place a breeding prospect in a home at no cost to the family. The family gets a loving pet at the cost of being a part of our breeding program. This is a trade off and not meant for everyone. It takes a special person to be a guardian. You need to have a good understanding that your puppy/dog is serving a bigger purpose. Our guardians become our partners. Everyone knows the joy of bringing a new puppy home, but it takes special people to volunteer for what it takes to make that happen.

As a guardian, you receive a breeding quality forever puppy at no cost.

Pups chosen to continue their line in our program will be placed with carefully selected Guardian families. While in our program, all the pup's information will be held in our name. Once they are retired from our program, it will be transferred into the Guardian's name. Girls are usually retired at age 5, after an average of three litters. Boys may stay active for up to 6 years.

Guardians are responsible for all routine vet care & maintenance, while we are responsible for all breeding related expenses, including health certification, reproductive vet care and all whelping expenses.

Girls will come to our home for breeding, spend their pregnancy at their Guardian's home and return to us a week before their due date to raise their puppies. Guardians are welcome to visit after the puppies are in the "safe" period, typically 2-3 weeks old. Mama will go home after her puppies are fully weaned and independent. Our Guardians are invited to attend Go-Home-Day so they can see first hand the positive impact they are making on the world, one family at a time.
